At Gulf Star Sports we try to treat our customers in exactly the same way we like to be treated ourselves. We hate small print, but in order to comply with on-line service provider legislation we are required to set out the Terms and Conditions of the service we offer. Therefore, please find below our 'small print'.

Before we continue, please note that, due to the age of our members (18 months to 18 years), we only accept payment (the credit card details) form a Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign-up with the Academy. Therefore, if you are not the Parent or Legal Guardian i.e. one of our future members, please obtain permission prior to completing the On-line Registration form. Thanks.

Our General Terms & Conditions and Privacy Statement

The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable to access to and/or use of bookings.gulfstarsports.com (the 'Site') and Registering with Star Sports Services. By gaining access to and/or using the Site and completing the On-line Registration form, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations. The Site is owned and operated by Star Sports Services (license number 687250), with our registered office at PO Box 337199, Office No 096, Arab Bank Building, Port Saeed, Dubai, U.A.E. and, and we reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting the new version on the Site, so please check regularly.

Restrictions on Use

Restrictions on Use The information and materials on the Site are provided for the personal use of customers or potential customers of Star Sports Services. It contains information on sessions, events, locations and news relative to the activities generally. It also contains our Registration form so you can reserve 'your' (your children's) place. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions, none of the Information nor any such content may be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted or downloaded in any way without Gulf Star's prior written permission nor does Gulf Star grant any express or implied right to you under any of its trademarks, copyrights or other proprietary information.

Privacy and data protection

When registering with Gulf Star we ask for the name, address, credit card details, telephone number and e-mail address of the Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign up. We also ask for information concerning any medical conditions with regards the person(s) wishing to conduct activities with us, this is so that our staff/coaches can be made aware and in case of emergency. We also reserve the right to use your photographs of your child when taking part in our activities for marketing and promotional material.

Injury, death or damage to property

The Management will not be liable or responsible for any personal injury, accident or death, or any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles caused to or suffered by any visitors, participants, spectators or invitees attending any of the activities hosted by Gulf Star.
All participants, spectators and invitees will be responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance in relation to the conducted activities.
The Management will not be responsible for providing any security, medical assistance or facilities (including any first aid or ambulance services) or any other requirements in connection with any activity or event.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY. 

Our refund & cancellation policies are in place to ensure clarity to all customers in cases where cancellation occurs. The policy is also in place to protect the company from cases where refund or credit can or may incur cost to the organisations. By accepting Gulf Star Terms & Conditions, I understand that Gulf Star reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the program and that credit or refund is only available where Gulf Star does not incur cost as a result of cancellation this includes late notice cancellation and unexplained absence.

• Gulf Star Sports Reserves the right to offer make-up sessions to replace any cancelled classes. If there is non-attendance at the make-up session then no further refund or credit option is available.
• Gulf Star Sports may cancel events and activities in circumstances outwith our control, such as government announcements & holidays and severe weather inclement. We will Endeavour to provide alternative venues, days or times for re-arranged events.  In the event that these options are not plausible, we may be able to provide credits/refunds providing that Gulf Star does not incur cost which is detrimental to our business operations.  All refunds/credit are at the discretion of Gulf Star Senior Management.  
• Please note that refunds will only be processed through the original mode of payment, i.e cash will be made by cash refund, and online payments will be refunded through the online platform.
• Any refund made to credit card will dependent on the processing timelines of your specific bank. 
• Any cancellation made by the Customer, less than 48 hours before the paid classes, activities or rental period (in the event of a multiple booking this will apply to the first active date of the booking) will NOT be eligible for any amount of refund.
• Any cancellation made by the Customer, less than 7 days and more than 48 hours before the paid classes, activities or rental period (in the event of a multiple booking this will apply to the first active date of the booking) will be eligible to a maximum of 50% refund of the total amount paid.
• Refunds & credit will only be provided with authorization from Gulf Star Sports Senior Management and/or Directors
• If a refund is agreed Gulf Star reserves the right to deduct 5% processing and admin fees

DECLARATION AND WAIVER FOR CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES

I consent to allow my son/daughter to participate in Gulf Star Activities. I understand that there is a coherent risk of injury, loss and damages associated with participating in Gulf Star activities. In recognition of such risks, and as consideration for the right to participate in the activities, I knowingly and voluntarily enter into this waiver and release of liability, and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my child’s participation in Gulf Star Activities. I therefore release and forever discharge Gulf Star and their instructors or partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action which may arise as a result of my child’s participation in their activities. I authorise Gulf Star and their instructors to administer First Aid as well as seek medical support as and when deemed appropriate at. I confirm that I have disclosed all medical conditions at the time of registration. I understand that Gulf Star reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the program and that credit is only available where Gulf Star does not incur cost as a result of cancelation this includes late notice cancelation and unexplained absence. I give my permission for my son/daughter to be photographed and that Gulf Star has to right to publish these images for promotional and advertising purposes.
